For Meal Planner on Android
Data or account?
This page removes your data and leaves your sign-in working, so you can start fresh without losing the account. To remove the account itself as well, use delete your account instead — that covers everything on this page too.
Meal Planner is offline-first, so most of what you create never leaves your device: meal plans, dietary preferences and allergies, grocery lists, pantry, saved dishes, and the health tracker's food, weight and sleep entries.
Remove all of it with Android's own control: Settings → Apps → Meal Planner → Storage → Clear storage, or simply uninstall the app. Both wipe the on-device database completely and cannot be undone.
If you never signed in, there is nothing here to delete — skip to step 3.
If you did sign in (with Google or with an email and password), we hold one backup snapshot for your account: preferences, body profile, week plans, saved dish ratings and pantry. It is replaced each time your device uploads a newer one.
To remove it while keeping your account, sign out in the app (Profile → Account → Sign out) and email us at support@kivons.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Meal Planner — delete my backup”. We process these by hand, usually within 30 days. Deleting the account instead removes the snapshot immediately — see delete your account.
If you used Google Sign-In, you can withdraw that permission at any time from your Google account: Google Account → Data & privacy → Third-party apps & services. Revoking access stops future sign-ins; it does not by itself delete anything we already hold, so do step 2 as well if you want the backup gone.
Ad and analytics consent is separate from the data above and is withdrawn in the app: Settings → Privacy & consent. You can also reset the advertising identifier these services use from Android Settings → Google → Ads. What we receive is described in our Privacy Policy.
After the steps above we retain no meal-planning data tied to you. Anonymous, aggregated analytics are not linked to your account, and we may keep minimal records where the law requires it — both are covered in the Privacy Policy.
